For those of us who will always foster a deep seated nostalgia for old-school adventure games, good news is on the way.
As of now the list of games being offered is somewhat limited:
- Armed and Dangerous™
- Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis
- Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure
- LEGO® Indiana Jones: The Original Adventure
- LOOM™
- Star Wars Battlefront® II
- Star Wars Republic Commando®
- Star Wars Starfighter™
- The Dig®
- Thrillville®: Off the Rails®
But according to their twitter feed, this is only the first wave of titles. They also report that the classic games will not use emulators such as ScummVM or DosBox, but will be actual windows native apps.
This event is also notable as Lucasarts was one of a few remaining publishers not to embrace Steam as a distribution channel.
Here’s hoping we get to see Sam & Max, Grim Fandango, and Monkey Island soon!

This is exciting news. I look forward to hearing more about what SW titles will be coming out.
