Kumoricon is Portland’s anime and manga convention and it takes place over the three days of Labor Day Weekend. This year it is in downtown Portland at the Hilton. There are some great special guests including manga editor extraordinaire Carl Gustav Horn, anime producer and manga translator Toshifumi Yoshida, Otaku USA contributor and Manga: The Complete Guide author, Jason Thompson. I will definately be going to all of their panels.
On the schedule for Sunday at 4:30 is the Dark Horse Translator’s Panel. We discussed this a little in the last podcast, but both then and now I have not heard this is going on for sure. If it is a go, then I will be on it. Once I know for sure I will let you know here. Regardless I will be there all weekend and hope to see you there. Maybe another Sci-Guy or two will make an appearance as well.
