Screenrant has an extensive review of the new Marvel series on Cartoon Network. You can read the review here, (and you should, it is worth your time).
The most amazing aspect of the show for me is the incredible assembly of voice actors in one cast. “The Super Hero Squad Show” has a big bunch of characters, and getting this level of name recognition and talent is pretty darn impressive.

I wonder what the per episode cost on this thing is… regular voice actors don’t make squat for giving voice to animated shows when compared to what “camera ready” actors make. Since this is half TV show and half 30 minute commercial for the toy line, I suppose they can afford the big names?
I’ll have to capture it on the DVR. Maybe my son will like it… yeah, MY SON will want to watch.

I watched the first episode. Everyone shown here must be a guest star, because none of them were in the pilot. Well, Reed Richards was in it for about 2 seconds.
I was really surprised to hear that it was well received at comic-con, because it was nothing special to say the least.
unless you LOVE fart jokes.
As you might expect, this thing is pretty much geared to a 4-6 year old audience. And doesn’t really try to be anything more.
