   Did Smokey/Flocke ever actually promise to bring Nadia back from the dead for Sayid? Or did he just make one of those “what would you say if I told you that you could see her again?” type promises that only IMPLIES she is coming back? When in fact it probably means Sayid will join her in death rather than her coming back to life.

   Kinda like the Emperor getting Anakin to believe that the dark side was the only way to keep Padme alive.

   clearly there was more conversation between sayid and flocke that we didn’t see. So we can’t know what was said there.

   but Flocke did pose his statement as a question something like, what if you could see her again…
