A Battle Star Galactica online game is being produced for a fall 2010 release date.
What can we say? Since WOW proved it is the one MMORPG to rule them all, every other online RPG has become an after-thought.
But this game will be both web browser based, and free of charge, so it may stand a chance of catching on. At least it will be a bit different. We’ll see…

Ahhh, very clever… the game is “free” to play, until you suddenly absolutely have to have a weapons upgrade for your aging Viper. Allowing players to purchase upgrades instead of having a fixed monthly fee is genius! Many players already do this (via goldfarming sites), so it won’t be much of a stretch.

This is just like the facebook games. Sure you can have a taste for free…
