ABC’s “Flash Forward” returned with a new, two-part episode last week… and got it’s butt kicked in the ratings by NCAA basketball. Prior to its hiatus, “Flash Forward” was averaging about a 2.9 rating after you took DVR views into account. Last Thursday, the show only managed a 1.9 rating / 6 share in the 18-49 demographic, with about 6.5 million people tuning in to watch Mark and his band of intrepid FBI agents (numbers from Nielsen).
CBS won the night with NCAA Basketball, and NBC snuck into second place for the timeslot with a pair of sitcoms. “Flash Forward” did manage to beat a repeat episode of “Bones” over on Fox.
What did I see in my flash forward? I didn’t see the show on the air…

yeah, I caught it on hulu. I was watching must see tv on nbc.
I’m not even going to discuss the merits of the show itself – I think we will be doing that in the next podcast. But I think based on ratings, and what I perceive the budget of the show to be, I don’t think it is going to make it.
