Is anyone shocked that the first wedding presided over by a robot was located in Tokyo, Japan? These recent nuptials were preformed by a robot (with a feminine voice) and don’t think the bride was tricked into this like certain Star Wars wives. She works for a robotics company and he teaches robotics at a Tokyo university.
This isn’t so surprising considering another guy down the road married his DS late last year. However, will robots put gaijin wedding priests out of business in Japan? Tune into our next podcast this week for more insights.

I can take the robot wedding. After the robopocalypse we will be begging for this sort of service.
but the guy marrying the DS? That’s just dumb.
