Sci-Guy favorite Mark Hamill has kept his sci-fi roots throughout his career. Best known as the actor who played Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy, Hamill went on to become a well-respected voice actor whose most famous role is likely that of The Joker from animated Batman series. Hamill also created the comic book Black Pearl, about a costumed stalker who is mistaken for a superhero when he accidentally rescues the object of his affection. Rumors were confirmed today by Variety that Hamill will be directing a low budget big screen version of Black Pearl. No release date had been set.
