It is pouring down rain in the land of the Sci-Guys. It is also time for a new umbrella. The great guys over at ThinkGeek are offering this amazing umbrella for sale, described as a “Blade Runner” umbrella.
Hold on… I agree that there are some umbrellas in the movie Blade Runner that have flourescent tubes for handles, but this umbrella looks like a LIGHTSABER running through an umbrella. I may end up buying this product ($24.99 plus S/H) to keep my balding head dry, but I think that I will tell all my friends and co-workers that it is a lightsaber umbrella.
Most already know I am a geek, and most know what Star Wars is. I’m nervous that a Blade Runner reference is too sophisticated for the non-Sci-Guy crowd! What do you think? “Blade Runner” prop? Or “Star Wars?”

If it looks anything like the pic there, I think Star Wars…
