We know, we know… there has been a LOT of Lost Love around here lately. This will be my last Lost related post. I promise. Maybe.
Retailers are taking preorders for the upcoming “Lost: The Complete Collection” DVD or Blu-Ray box set. Scheduled to be released on August 24th, the set promises that “all the mysteries will be revealed.” I was a bit angry with this last promise, until I thought about it and realized “revealed” is not the same as “answered.”
Expect to pay just under $200 for the set on Blu-Ray if you buy through an online discounter. DVD should set you back about $150. For a set with 36 discs, that doesn’t seem that out of line. The internet is abuzz with the news that the boxed set will include footage cut from the series finale that explains a few more mysteries, including why Walt was so “special” to The Others.

It is very tempting… the boxed set comes with a ton of “extras” including a map of the island, a copy of the game that Jacob & the MIB played as kids, etc.
Maybe you should get it and I will just borrow it…
