This article may be a little old, but its value is undeniable. In Japan (or what I like to call “Robot Jerusalem”) they have robots which can act as sommeliers. They use lasers and shoot it at wine to tell their human follower what the wine tastes like.

But here is the sweet part: When the laser was shot at a reporter’s hand, it was identified as prosciutto. When a cameraman’s hand was shot it was identified as “bacon”.

That is so cool.
