Since I have “The Avengers” on my mind today… what is the ideal lineup for the upcoming movie based upon Marvel’s mightiest heroes?

Several months ago, Marvel’s Kevin Feige seemed to indicate that the team would be made up of  five main heroes:  Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Nick Fury.  This makes sense, since all of these characters will have solo movies released by the time “The Avengers” comes around.

But an all-guy team?  C’mon… fanboys are all about equality.  Early rumors seemed to indicate that Scarlett Johansson would probably make an appearance as the black-clad, crotch tackling Black Widow.  Later rumors even suggested that Eva Longoria was being courted to play Janet VanDyne / The Wasp. 

I hope they don’t make the cast too big.  Five is probably a good number in terms of managing screen time.  But I’m hoping for at least a brief Black Widow cameo… and that’s why I’m also declaring Scarlet Johansson my Sci-Crush for the month of July.
