We talked about the Street Fighter x Tekken a little while back. This is (supposedly) game play presented recently as SDCC, (and you can hear the nerds eating it up). This looks to be the Street Fighter engine, rather than the more 3D Tekken engine. The game will come out in both. However any new video containing Chun-Li and/or Nina Williams is a winner in this house.

It certainly looks much more like street fighter than tekken, which to me is a let down.
the cut scenes interspersed in the fighting is interesting – does street fighter do that nowadays?
those fans were reeeeaaaally excited, weren’t they!

There will be two versions: one with the SF engine (2-D) and one with the Tekken engine (3-D). The one I posted was 2-D (meaning there is no depth or rotating within the fight area).
SF does do the cut scenes…kinda cool.
