Fans at Celebration V got to see this long-lost deleted scene from RoTJ… Luke putting the finishing touches on his new lightsaber before hiding it inside R2-D2. UPDATE: The video link is dead. Darned that copyright stuff. Check the comments for another way to take a look at this scene.

That’s awesome.
I can’t remember the name of it now (this was ten years or so ago I guess), but there was a really good website where this fan had a list (including photos, script details and so on) of all the deleted scenes from the original trilogy. Hopefully they’ll all appear on the Blu-Ray discs (which I’m assuming is why this was released, to raise interest) in some form.

I agree with you about the Blu-Ray angle… the box set scheduled for release in 2011 is supposed to have all sorts of candy like this.
