If you made it to the end of the January 4th episode of “V” on ABC, you finally got to see Jane Badler. Ms. Badler played “Diana” in the first “V” series back in the 80s. In what this Sci-Guy feels is a desparate ratings grab, ABC brought her back to play the mother of current bad-girl “Anna” played by Morena Baccarin.
I’m sure we will be discussing “V” during our January 11th podcast. Until then, please watch the episode and chime in with your opinions. Has “V” jumped the shark (lizard?)? Or does the latest episode promise a brighter, redder future for the show?

I can’t wait to talk about this episode next week on the podcast!

Was V really that popular the first time around? I mean, I know I watched it, but I was a kid, and I would watch anything.

The mini-series was a big deal. I think the actual TV series ran maybe 2 years? I don’t think it was that big of a deal.

Just checked – the show ran one season only. It sure felt longer to me as a teenager…

Wasn’t it in 2 parts? V and then V: the Final Battle? and then the show.
I don’t think it will jump the shark until Marc Singer and/or Michael Inronside and/or Robert Englund show up.
