Thanks for compiling this, I get to enjoy the Super Bowl sans commercials (thanks to the BBC).
I think the Cowboys & Aliens trailer is strong in that it shows some cool stuff but not too much. Captain America’s good too.
Battle: LA is effective but no new footage.
Worrying thing about Terra Nova: all of the dialogue is from Stephen Lang. Great actor, and he’s setting the scene, but the lead character’s barely in it. Hmmm.
And Clay Matthews seems to be pulling double duty by playing for both the Packers and starring in Marvel’s upcoming Thor movie. Ahem.
I watched the game with a decidedly “non Sci-Guy” crowd. When the trailer for “Super 8″ finished, there were puzzled looks and I heard a “whatever” from one person. Not sure if it really piqued curiousity or not.
I agree with Martin– the Captain America trailer did a good job giving us a taste of what to expect, but gave away very little in terms of plot.

We also watched with a “mixed crowd”. It was Cowboys and Aliens that got a few “What the heck was that?” reaction… and not in a good way.
