I mentioned this movie during the news in our last podcast. What do you think? Are these kids that difficult to understand? Personally, I didn’t think so. I hope this film finds a distributor, because I liked what I saw (and heard!) in the trailer. Thanks to Martin for tipping me off to the trailer’s existence!

The movie was written and directed by Joe Cornish. Nick Frost is one of the bigger names in the cast. Looks like it was made for about $13 million (US). Never heard of Joe Cornish? He did the screenplay for the upcoming “Adventures of Tintin” movie, and was recently announced as the screenplay writer for an “Antman” movie. And he had an uncredited role as “Zombie Shot by Soldiers” in “Shaun of the Dead.”

Looks a lot of fun.
Joe Cornish was one half of The Adam and Joe Show which aired over here in 1996. I can’t remember too much about it (there are some clips available on YouTube) but do recall thinking their ‘recreating films with toys’ segments were very funny.

I understood every word. Not that I am some wordsmith savant, but what the hell?
