Any early thoughts? Visuals look good. Franco seems more animated than his Academy Awards host performance. But do we really want another Apes movie?

Stop. Right there. What ELSE could “increased brain functioning” mean?
Doesn’t look terrible, but I’m not really interested in this; it just doesn’t look like there’s anything interesting or inventive on display, aside from some impressive FX.

some of the shot were to much like a cut scene from jumanji. i really cant see how a few monkeys could take over the world, even if they can use sticks and their own shit to open a cell door. By that logic will we see rise of the plant of the toddler next year or invaion of really clever squirrels. Apes, Just throw them a tyre and a banana and when they look away grab an uzi, film over.
