“Robotropolis”, which seems a little derivative of the work of Daniel H. Wilson (“Robopocalypse”, “How to Survive a Robot Uprising”), doesn’t have a release date yet. But they better release it before Summer 2013, because that is when the real “Robopocalypse” is supposed to hit theaters! “Robotropolis” is the creation of Christopher Hatton. Hatton’s resume includes working as a writer on a couple of STNG episodes, as well as writing and directing the movie “Sammyville” which starred DS9 fan fave Chase Masterson. Maybe SyFy is looking for some programming to fill the void caused by the cancellation of “Eureka”?
