My SO has been *livid* over the Comixology bull. It just keeps me firmly in the realm of paper, please. And lately, I’ve been holding out for trade paperbacks because they’re usually cheaper than the individual issues. Then I forget to buy the TPs and my utter fail at reading mainstream comics since 2000 continues….

We just caught up to this current season of Grimm. I guess we’ve been determined to keep up with a wheelhouse show, too, but gawd, nothing feels very compelling these days. I’m having a hard time with Continuum, too, and we watched all of Blood and Chrome the other night. SHEESH. I want some romance, compelling plot, and a little damn bit of humor – is that too much to ask to exist along a sci-fi/fantasy setting???

Went to see “Oz, the Great and Powerful” and “Jack the Giant Killer” yesterday. Both enjoyable, big-screen movies, but I have to admit, I found “Jack” a bit more exciting. Also, we had to watch Oz in 3-D because of time constraints and it only proved to me that watching a movie in 3-D is *work*. The edges of Oz were blurry and we wondered if we didn’t need to be at the very back of the theater to see the entire screen clearly. We were really relieved to sit down to a normal showing of Jack – the difference was amazing, how much more we could relax and watch the film with our simple eyes.

Anyway, thanks for another great episode. And I listened to it in under a week! Go me! <3

    love, lore
